It’s really important that when you’re in need of physiotherapy you complete your entire rehabilitation because if you don’t, it can lead to more problems. More and more we are seeing patients coming to us with chronic injuries that have arisen from incomplete rehabilitation. These can include anything from muscle weakness to loss of balance and stability, which, in turn, can cause problems such as early joint damage. More often than not, this could have been prevented by early and complete rehabilitation.

One of the things we see a lot with patients is untreated sports injuries that have spiralled into something much more serious and are therefore harder to treat. Remember, you will have a much higher chance of a full recovery, and a quicker recovery, if you seek help as soon as you can and fully complete rehabilitation.

Here at Advance Physio, we treat a variety of sports injuries and can get you back on track with the aid of our experienced physiotherapists. We tailor your rehabilitation to suit your specific requirements and take on patients who have ranging fitness levels. Most of our physiotherapists are athletes themselves, so they appreciate how significant it is to get healed and back doing what you love most.

If you’ve suffered from any kind of sports injuries and haven’t yet completed rehabilitation, come and see us at Advance Physio. Chances are you’ll still be in need of physiotherapy and we’ll do our best to get you to full recovery. If you’ve suffered an injury and haven’t yet seen a specialist, contact us as soon as possible as the longer you wait, the harder your recovery will be.
